Mark Smirnov
Mark A. Smirnov was born on the Orthodox Christmas holiday,
January 7, 1985. Mark is a member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
From 2001 to 2008 he studied and graduated with honors from the Penza Art
School named after Konstantin Savitskyin which first learned to his parents:
Tatyana Smirnova at the Faculty of theatrical art and Alexander Maksimovic
Smirnov at the Faculty (of easel) painting. In 2008 he began to work together with his father,
Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA), in Italy, France and Russia. Since 2010 is a member of the International Art Fund.
In 2012 he was awarded the gold badge of the International Fund for Cultural Heritage.
In 2013 he became the winner of the "Ten years and three centuries of relations with Russia
South of Italy "for the best work in the category" Painting, Drawing "at the General Consulate of the Russian Federation to Palermo (Italy).
In 2014 he became an academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences in Hannover
(Germany). Decision of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts from November 18, 2014
awarded the Silver Medal.
Was exhibited in the Russian Federation State Duma, the Government House
Voronezh region, in the Penza regional art gallery in the House of Russian abroad
named Solzhenitsyn, in the Central House of Artists in Moscow.
Travel, paints landscapes around the world. Lives and works in Italy and Russia
(Moscow). He is married and has two children.
